I have Officially joined Rebelz Gaming

I've officially joined Rebelz Gaming (www.rebelzgaming.com) formerly Team Loading (teamloading.com). They are still in the CEVO playoffs, so I will be officially playing in Season 2 (if all goes well). We will be going to NERV LAN in Allentown, Pennsylvania, June 20th-22nd. The roster as far as I know for NERV will be kMarT, Sage, Yew Nork, haste, zigzag. I believe the GotGame crew and I will be residing outside of Allentown, for the offtime.

CAL Week 6: mp_vacant

Photobucket

Vacant is a close quarters epic spec ops, wall spamming, flash frenzy. But after last week's map, mp_pipeline, this is a much more balanced map for offense and defense. The corridors on this map are long and narrow which makes flashes fairly useful, as well as very effective in abundance. Along with the thin wall spamming is the long distance.

Now some may say "long distance? this guy is high" well, besides the smokes being thrown A side, Snipers and m16's have opportunities for picks just as much as they did on mp_pipeline. Down the long A and B halls are also chances to get great picks off round start.

Many teams try and smoke the A platform on defense to advance into the A bombsite and setup. Whereas on offense, the team may use that smoke as well to advance up, and spam the walls. This also cuts off any snipe picks off round start, but an m16 can be proven fairly deadly if spamming in the correct places.

On defense, many send a spec ops to Bathroom through A bombsite/A hall, a lot of offensive teams try and land a nade down there before he throws a nade down A hall. At the same time on B side, defense usually sends a guy through the B storage room and offensive teams try and pick him through B Hall or the front door. These two rushes are vital for defense, as the bathroom is a central location to move between bombsites and prevent any rushes A & B side.

From the bathroom, they can control the A Hall, some of the A bombsite, the Courtyard, the Cabinets hall and Cabinets. As well in those positions they can watch B hall/bedrooms and Kitchen. Once these guys are picked off, this leaves the Back A defensive players, and the back B storage/office players. I've seen a lot of offensive teams try and work picks through the bathroom and moving to whichever bombsite according to whichever side they've unstacked.

Overall, the Call of Duty community seems completely unsatisfied with IW's maps. I on the other hand, cherish what has been given and learn to adapt, which is why I am soooo good.

CAL-M Week 3 Predictions

I must say fragD has put their pieces into play. With the addition of Sphinx, paired up with Aroc, tm, and lutey, they've made a great team. Chimpae stated in his article at E-Rev that "no one can be sure who the top teams in main really are," well, of course not! This is still season one, we've seen top teams break down, lose top players, and flee from this game simply because they think it's terrible... Only to come back and become main candidates once again.

We do know what some of the top teams are right now... but some of these teams in main aren't even practicing that much. People in this game are still held up about what maps they like and what maps they don't. What perks to enable, or what maps to set up for match play, or begging IW for colors to be put back into this game.

Nobody really knows if this game is going to end after S1 or S6. Besides the upsets in Week 2, I have high hopes for some teams. But I thought to myself, this game came out November 6th, and for teams, it has been a catastrophe. Three months into this game and players have quit, teams have broken up, and all this arguing is slowly going somewhere but I think it's driving some people crazy.

I really think that it's too early to predict who is going to beat who. Pretty soon predictions will have to be taken back because certain team carriers are hopping teams. But, it doesn't matter when you're the best player in the game, eh?
